BIOGRAPHICAL
SKETCH:
Henry P. Giessel,
born in Germany, July 30, 1927; admitted to the State Bar
of Texas, 1950. Henry graduated from the University
of Texas Law School (L.L.B. 1950) where he was editor of
the University of Texas Law Review. For over four
decades, he has distinguished himself as a trial lawyer
not only in Texas, but also across the country. Recently,
he served as one of the attorneys for the plaintiff in Harper
v. Taber where his final argument on damages resulted
in a $12,000,000 verdict. Not only has Henry been
at the forefront of changing tort law through the numerous
cases he has argued before Appellate Courts, he has frequently
served as an adjunct Professor at the University of Houston
Law School. Henry's counsel and litigation abilities
are an integral part of this firm.
